Kambria|Wildflower Maternity Photoshoot

Let’s just say, things happen for a reason.

We had different locations, different days and different times scheduled for Kambria’s maternity photoshoot but everything we had planned previously, fell apart and left us scrambling to figure out the situation. And I’m so glad it did.

The night before, we went driving to find a sunflower field that had previously been planted close-by in the years past. Like many other sunflower fields, it was not planted this year, but we found this field of wildflowers instead! When I tell you this was the perfect day and location-I am not kidding, the weather was beyond perfect-especially for July! (Besides the tick, spiders and thistles lol!!)

Her dress was hand-dyed black (shoutout to Rit dye) by us a week prior; her jewelry was located in my client closet-originally purchased for a much different theme but never worn to my knowledge and her hat was taken from my personal accessory closet-I’m a sucker for a cute hat, I swear. Don’t miss my favorite $1 vintage chair I found at yard sale last year, I knew I’d find the perfect place to bring it along.

She has a pretty cute bump, as her aunt, I’m allowed to say such things. Also, I heard golden hour, sun flares and blurred backgrounds aren’t cool anymore-so here they all are-looking pretty badass if you ask me.

Let’s prance around in a field sometime and enjoy the wildflowers.
