I was so excited when Claudie said she wanted to do a third session! We have previously worked together for her first session that involved the Sirens Den and the wet t-shirt look and her second session was based around Halloween, a bat bodysuit (to go along with her tattoo!) and the grey angel wings! Now it was time to have some fun with this spring set that included our Woodland Nymph set, Bad Bunny set and the classic In the Sheets set, that’s definitely a fan favorite!
I had so much fun buying her flowers to add to the sets a couple of days before and curating her outfits I knew she’d love (I had a pretty good idea of what she’d like since we’ve already worked together a couple of times!) Shopping for sessions may be a fun little addiction I have, and I knew exactly which accessories I wanted to pair with the outfits too!
Setting up for this session was one of my favorite parts too, I knew I wanted to extend the backdrop from what I had previously done with the Bad Bunny set, this was the last Woodland Nymph set but I’m so glad I got to create this masterpiece with it! This session was so much fun because of the creativity that I got to bring to the table, and it helps to have a client that trusts my vision and the amazing outcome I know we’re going to get!
Recently I switched labs to these LUXURY albums that I’m literally obsessed with, I asked Claudie if I could have the album shipped here (I usually dropship directly to my clients) so I could look it over and take a couple of pictures of the cover. I’m dying at the outcome because the purple she chose (with a little push from myself because I knew she’d love it as much as I do!) was absolutely perfect for her session. I can’t wait until her next session!!
Before the Session
How do you feel about your photoshoot? Excited and a little nervous!
What are you nervous about? My facial expressions because I can’t relax my forehead!
What are you most excited for today? Just seeing my pictures and learning to love myself more and my body image.
Why are you doing a session? For myself and to promote positive body image for other women.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I’ve been working on my self-confidence, so this has been helping me a lot.

How are you feeling now that we’ve taken some photos? Excited!
What are you the most excited for? I’m really excited to see the results, I’m really excited to see the pictures.

Now that your session is over, how do you feel? Beautiful and excited.
What are you the most excited to see? How great the pictures are.
What was your favorite part? I think my favorite part of this whole thing is just actually having fun and feeling good about myself.
Are you excited to see your images? Oh absolutely!
Can you explain how the session made you feel? Even though this is my third session I still feel a little nervous about my body type I guess and my own self-consciousness of it. But I feel confident now, like even more so. Every time I do this it’s more empowering to me so that’s what I feel good about.
After the Reveal
Describe how it feels seeing your images for the first time: Exciting, very exciting.
Did your images turn out better than you expected? Yes definitely.
Which one is your favorite and why? Oh god. I think the one I picked for the metal art because I just feel like serene there. Something about it is just…it sticks out. My face looks really soft and there’s no creases in my forehead. It just looks really soft.
Does this change how you view yourself? Yes. It does.
What product are you the most excited for? My metal art.
What would you tell someone thinking of booking? Definitely do it, it’s an experience that you need to do.
Why would you recommend Tara Rae Photography? Because you make everything comfortable and fun, you calm my nerves, and you’re very professional but you’re also able to laugh and joke around about if you make a mistake or trip, you’re easy going and I love that.
What do you know now that you wish you would have known before booking? I guess before I booked, I was nervous about my rolls but even with them I’m still beautiful no matter what so that’s a plus!

How do you like your album? It’s absolutely beautiful, I love it!
What are you going to do with it? I’m probably going set it with my other ones on my table beside my couch so I can look at them!
